Dickens great expectations chapter 5,6,7

The soldiers rush into pips house to find Joe the blacksmith,only to fix the handcuffs that were going to be used on the convicts in the marshes.This incident postpones the Christmas dinner where Mrs Joe was going to discover what happened to the pork pie that Pip had stole for his convict.Pip and Joe then head out to the marshes with the soldiers to find the convicts where Pip’s convict takes the blame that he stole the pork pie

During chapter 6 Pip and his family think about their thoughts on capturing the convicts and then they go home.when going into chapter 7 we learn that Joe is very uneducated since he cant read.Near the end we see that Joe still defends his father even when he was a bad man and then pip gets invited to ride in a chaise car with wealthy Mrs Havisham

In chapter 7 Pip meets Biddy,Mr Wopsle’s great aunt’s daughter which is an orphan just like him.We Then discover more about Joe and that he cant read and write.We also learn that Joe’s Dad beat his mother as he was a alcoholic and he was forced to support his father which meant that he couldn’t go to school.Despite the fact that his dad was a bad man,Joe still loved him.As Mrs Joe comes back she says that Mrs Havisham has said that Pip should be Estella’s playmate.

Chapter 4 Great Expectations

When Pip returns home his relatives are having dinner.Pip had taken Brandy and a pork pie for his convict which Pips family are going to have.Mr Pumblechook drinks the washed down brandy and chokes as Pip had put tar inside in order to make it look like it had not been used.Everyone is confused on how the tar water got into the brandy.Mrs Joe the tries to find the pork pie which Pip had stolen and Pip knew the consequences that would happen.The tickler a object that was used to hit pip.Pip decides to go to the door in order to avoid being hit but just then he runs into a party or soldeirs.

Just after Pip headed into the marshes in the morning.Pip discovers another convict with a leg iron and thinks that the he is a “the young man”.Pip then finds the right convict hugging himself from the cold and starving to death.Pip brings food,brandy and a file for the convict,he then reveals that they are other prisoners who have escaped,but tells him that it is the “young man”.Pip quickly head home to find out he has to go church with Joe,his sister’s husband.Pip finally returned home to see his sister getting the house ready for festivities of the day.Guest were coming over.Mr Pumblechook,Mr Wopsle and Mr and Mrs Hubble.
